I think the Carol & Lizzie scene had more of an impact for me. Carol loved Lizzie and had to make a hard choice wither you agree with it or not. These Hunter kids were brainwashed killers who Michonne had lesser emotional ties to vs Carol and Lizzie. One was condemning someone for past and future actions vs self-defense.
